Costs For Self-Funding Patients Or Patients With No Private Insurance

  • Anesthetic fees: There are no out-of-pocket expenses for HBF members as, currently, all of Dr. Rao’s Anaesthetists are HBF-preferred providers. However, there is a small gap fee of $500 for patients with private insurance from other funds.
  • Dietitian appointments: $ 500 Package fee for a year. Rebates are available from your private health fund, depending on your coverage. However, if you have a referral from your GP for an Allied Health Care provider plan, you will get rebates back from Medicare.
